Mrs. Murphy served in multiple administrative positions during her 28 years in higher education prior to her retirement from her full-time position. She has versatile experience in conflict resolution, project management, leadership development, health and wellness, professional development, and system implementation. During her tenure, she established the Office of Employee and Organizational Development, and led the campus wellness, service excellence and conflict resolution initiatives. Working with the University System of Georgia, she held many leadership roles including Alternative Dispute Resolution Liaison, Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) Steering Committee member, Service Excellence Ambassador, OneUSG Change Lead, Well-being Liaison, Performance Management Steering Committee member, and head of the Professional Development Consortium Regional Training Center. On occasion, she has worked with Capstone Performance Solutions, LLC and Tanner Training Group, LLC as an independent contractor. She continues her education and passion for workplace well-being and has been recognized by the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) as a faculty member.
