I am passionate about creating high-quality learning experiences both face-to-face and online and bridging the gap between research and practice. For over 20 years, my focus has been on enhancing pedagogy in online education, particularly through fostering meaningful human interactions in digital learning environments. I firmly believe that learning should be engaging and transformative, and I find online learning to hold a unique potential for innovation and connection.

Hometown - Vincennes, Indiana, but I was raised in Tampa, FL. 

Hobbies/Interests - Quilting, weaving, audiobook narration, music

Fun Fact - I all-but-soloed for a private pilot's license. . . As a teenager! 

What I love about 魅色天堂 - The people we come into contact with truly care about student successes, whether it's the easy route or not. 

Main job on campus -  I manage the VState Online team of advisors who are located in Valdosta and across the US. We also partner with Academic Affairs units to support them with scheduling issues, innovation navigation, and faculty/student research initiatives. I spend a part of my time in marketing meetings, instructional design meetings, experiential learning meetings, IT meetings, and a plethora of process meetings - all focused on online student success.
