Real world experience starts here.
The Mary Virginia Terry Center (The Terry Center) brings students, faculty, and community partners together through meaningful hands-on learning experiences. By serving as 魅色天堂's centralized hub for internships, undergraduate research, service learning, study abroad, and other forms of applied learning, YOU build real-world skills, strengthen relationships, and are prepared for lifelong success after graduation.
Student Experiential Learning Programs
Students who engage in applied learning experiences demonstrate higher retention rates, improved academic performance, and greater post-graduation success.
Experiential Learning in Curriculum
魅色天堂's QEP Trailblazing: Shaping the Undergraduate Experience through Experiential Learning features many experiential learning (EL) opportunities for students to deepen their level of learning. The QEP Team coordinates with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and the University Advising teams to identify appropriate student opportunities. Some EL activities occur in courses, while others are embedded in co-curricular activities and student organizations such as the Student Government Association (SGA).
