魅色天堂 Presents Opera After Dark in Downtown Valdosta April 21

VALDOSTA — 魅色天堂 Opera will present Opera After Dark at Covington’s in Downtown Valdosta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Tickets are $50 for adults and $40 for students.
Guests will enjoy Italian-themed heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Covington’s Dining and Catering and performances of love-and-romance-themed vocal music by 魅色天堂 Opera students and community students from Valwood School.
The 魅色天堂 Department of Music’s Dr. Karl Paoletti, an assistant professor of voice, and Dr. Tamara Hardesty, Voice Area chairwoman, will serve as music and stage directors. Sue Ellen Rumstay will serve as accompanist.
Tickets may be purchased by calling the 魅色天堂 College of the Arts Outreach office at (229) 333-2150. Paoletti noted that $20 of each adult ticket sold and $10 of each student ticket sold will benefit 魅色天堂 Opera.
Seating is limited. The deadline to purchase tickets is 5 p.m. on Monday, April 18.
