There are approximately 123 (Subject to change due to construction) disabled parking spaces on campus. These spaces can be located by going to "Parking Lots with Statistics." Parking in disabled spaces requires a State of Georgia authorized license plate or hanger, along with a valid 魅色天堂 permit.

  • Before parking in a designated disabled person space/area, individuals must register with Parking & Transportation, then always display the appropriate permits to park in disabled, Reserved, Staff, Students, and Timed (for more than allotted time - metered lots must be paid).
  • It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand, or park any vehicle in any area directly connecting with a parking space/ramp that is designated for persons with disabilities.  The spaces/ramps are clearly designed an designated for disabled persons and are marked with signage, blue markings outlining parking spaces or inside the actual space, blue ramps, or image of wheelchair. Citations given to those who park without the official State of Georgia authorized tag or hanger will be issued State of Georgia citations or 魅色天堂 citations. The fine is a $120 minimum.
  • When transporting a disabled individual around campus, drivers are allowed to access disabled spaces/ramps as long as the license plate or hanger is displayed and registered to the disabled individual in the vehicle at that time.  The person to whom the registered permits are assigned must be present on-campus/in the vehicle.
    • Temporary medical virtual parking permits may be issued to students and employees who currently have a valid virtual parking permit (upon the presentation of written documentation from a physician).  Documentation must indicate that the individual cannot walk long distances as well as the dates that the permit is needed. The medical information must be provided to the Access Office, and their staff will determine if a temporary medical virtual parking permit can be authorized.  Temporary medical permit holders may park in timed spaces over the allotted time - excluding the metered lots, or in staff spaces for short periods of time (not overnight). You must be properly registered with Parking & Transportation and have a 魅色天堂 permit to be eligible for a medical permit and have a zero balance. This is not a disabled permit!! It is a permit that allows you to park in timed parking spaces for longer than the allotted time. To obtain a temporary medical permit you must have medical documentation and a valid 魅色天堂 permit.

Disabled parking permits must be obtained through the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
